What We Do

Helmets Of Love is a non-profit organization that provides helmets to youth for bikes and ATV’s. This program is operated strictly from donations and fundraising efforts by volunteer hands. Any and all monetary donations are welcome and appreciated. Your generosity will allow us to continue to provide education and helmets to all children through the Helmets Of Love program, spreading Madison’s Legacy.

This Organization is in memory of Madison Rose Pierce from Valley Mills, TX. Unconditional love and compassion for others were two of Madison’s strongest traits, and we have worked hard to ensure that those traits are the driving forces of this program.

Helmets of Love was developed to bring awareness to the importance of helmet safety and to ensure that all children are equipped with these helmets. Since July 4, 2012, we have given hundreds of bike and ATV helmets to area children and have been blessed by the stories and assistance of many wonderful people along the way.

In May of 2015 we received a call from De Zevala Elementary school in San Antonio, Texas, asking if we could donate a few helmets to some of their top performing students. After several phone calls and discussions we were not only able to say yes to that, but we were given the opportunity to give every child in the school a bike helmet. Over 620 helmets were passed out that day. This marked our
largest single give away to date.

Helmets of Love is operated strictly from donations and fundraising efforts by volunteer hands. Any and all monetary donations are welcome and appreciated. Your generosity will allow us to continue to provide education and helmets to all children through the Helmets of Love program, spreading Madison’s legacy.

Here are some pictures from the Berlin Bike School that my fourth graders attend four times a year to learn the rules for riding a bike safely in Germany. One of our helmets always gets used because the students often forget their helmets on bike school day.
